1987 - Dave Simon, Paul Davis, Colin Diemer form Filet of Funk out of the remnants of Blank Space. Combining funk, ska, reggae, jazz and humor, their high energy shows at Mississippi Nights, Cicero's, Columbia Mo's Blue Note, and Blueberry Hill help to develop a local following. Adding trombonist John Covelli in 1988, they record and release these tracks before moving to Philadelphia.
